Confirm details directly with the airline, operator, marina, business or government office before you book, travel or pay.

Nothing on this site is legal, immigration, tax, medical, financial, engineering or navigational advice. In particular:
- Land and property. Rules for buying land, building and residency vary by country and change. Use a licensed local attorney and the relevant government office before you commit money.
- On the water. Anchorage, passage and harbour notes are not for navigation. Use current official charts, notices and forecasts, and the judgement of a qualified captain.
- Health and safety. Medical facilities on small islands can be limited and far apart. Get advice from a medical professional, and carry insurance that covers evacuation.
